"I had a few questions before..."
I had a few questions before ordering from William Powell, and the staff were really easy to deal with. There was just something about it that felt reassuring, like they actually wanted to help rather than rush me through it.

They clearly knew what they were talking about and didn’t make me feel awkward for asking basic questions. The advice was clear, straightforward, and helped me pick the right thing in the end.

It’s nice dealing with people who seem to have real experience, not just reading answers off a screen. I’d happily use them again.

"Better personalising options than I expected"
I didn’t expect the personalisation to be so simple, but it was really easy to customise everything the way I wanted. Nice little surprise.

"Big name, kinda underwhelming"
I know they’ve got a lot of history and a solid reputation, so I expected more. It just feels like they’re leaning on the old name a bit too much these days, instead of actually backing it up. Not terrible, just kinda dissapointing.

"After-sales support was fair, but a bit slow"
To be fair, they did get back to me and the issue was sorted in the end. It just took a few days, which was a little frustrating. Overall, not a bad experience, but the after-sales support could definitely be quicker.

"Looks good, but scuffed sooner than I expected"
I ordered a jacket from williampowell.com, and from what I remember, the sizing was spot on right away. It looked nice too — I definitely remember liking it when I first put it on. That said, after only a few wears, I noticed the fabric was already picking up scuffs more than I’d expected. I can’t recall exactly when they showed up, but it felt soon. It’s not a bad jacket by any means, I just thought it would hold up a bit better for the price.

"Delivery showed up right on time"
I ordered from williampowell.com and, to be fair, the delivery was reliable. I got the tracking details and the parcel arrived on the day they said it would. The box did have a small dent, which made me wonder a bit about how carefully things are handled, but the items inside seemed okay. I’d probably use them again.

"Stock info was really frustrating"
I ordered from williampowell.com because the item looked like it was in stock, or at least there was nothing obvious saying it wasn’t. I feel a bit stupid for trusting the website and assuming it would actually be available.

A couple of days later, I was told it wasn’t in stock and that I’d either have to wait or change my order. That was annoying, especially because I needed it sooner and probably would’ve ordered elsewhere if I’d known.

To be fair, customer service did reply, so it wasn’t a complete disaster. But the stock information really needs to be more accurate, and I’d be hesitant to order again without checking first

"It was okay, but I expected better"
The service was fine overall, but the whole experience could’ve been a lot smoother. Nothing was terrible, but there were enough little issues that I felt like an apology would’ve been appropriate.

"A quick stop that turned out really well"
I popped into the shop thinking I might be there for ages trying to sort my order, but it was actually really easy. I sent my item in for repair, and to be fair, the repair itself seems okay. But something felt a little off with the whole process. It took longer than they originally told me, and I had to wait around for updates more than I expected. I’ll say the work is nice overall. Some of the little details look really well done, and those parts made me feel like I made a good choice. That said, a few of the finishes seemed a bit rushed, especially for the price. I was already a little worried it might be uneven, and seeing those spots kind of confirmed that for me. Still, it’s not bad at all, just not quite as polished as I hoped.
